The Chanakya to Unicode Converter is a powerful tool designed for journalists, DTP operators, and graphic designers. Chanakya is a legacy non-Unicode font widely used in Hindi print media. When you copy text from a file using Chanakya font and paste it on the web (Facebook, WhatsApp, Blogs), it often turns into unreadable English characters (garbage text).

Our tool converts this garbage text into standard Unicode Hindi (Mangal), making it readable on all devices, smartphones, and browsers without needing any specific font installation.

How does it work?

• Input: You paste the Chanakya text (e.g., "Hkkjr") in the left box. By default, it shows the raw English characters. You can toggle "View as Hindi" to see the original font rendering.
• Process: Our advanced algorithm maps each Chanakya legacy character to its corresponding Unicode Hindi character, fixing complex matra positions (like Chhoti Ee and Reph).
